Perfect Crystal
Neutron Interferometry

Historically, the first verification of neutron interferometry with a perfect crystal device has been achieved at the 250 kW TRIGA-reactor in Vienna in the year 1974: this experimental milestone was published as

H. Rauch, W. Treimer, U. Bonse:
"Test of a Single Crystal Neutron Interferometer"
Physics Letters 47 A (1974) 369-371

H. Rauch is coordinator of the activities in the field of neutron interferometry. A most complete synopsis of results is given in the book "Neutron Interferometry", written by H. Rauch and S.A. Werner:

Rauch-Werner   It gives an overview on neutron optics at perfect crystals, neutron interaction and interferometric coherence, spinor formalism, the various phase phenomena and much more, all in its reference to neutron interferometry. (Clarendon Press, Oxford 2000 [ISBN 0198500270]).
